Intelligence East Midlands

What is Intelligence East Midlands?

Intelligence East Midlands is the regional observatory for the East Midlands. It co-ordinates and facilitates a network of organisations in the East Midlands with an interest and involvement in research and statistics about regional economic, social, environmental and spatial issues. It was established in 1999 as the East Midlands Observatory and was relaunched as Intelligence East Midlands in April 2004, prompted by a scoping study. IEM's intention is to add further value to the work of the Observatory by promoting the use of intelligence to inform policy making in the region.
