The Department of Tourism & Recreation at the University of Lincoln has been a major centre for tourism education and research for almost 15 years. It has developed a reputation for highly innovative and academically rigorous programmes of study that develop students’ knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to the business of tourism within a broader critical appraisal of the world within which tourism occurs. Undergraduate tourism programmes offered by the Department have a strong international focus, with many students taking the opportunity to study abroad as part of their course.
